I think I know what you mean

When I watch Goff, even though he was my preferred QB in the draft, I am nervous watching him when he is moving back there. Often I am just waiting for something disastrous to happen, Goff tripping over his feet and the ball squirting out as he rolls around on the ground lunging for it. But then something miraculous happens, the ball magically ends up in one of the receivers hands and all ends well. Then I think, see, I told you guys he's good.
