Here's the difference.

Questioning another fan's loyalty is a personal attack.

Having opinions, positive or negative, about Ram players' abilities is football talk, and not a personal attack.

The problem I see is when some fans identify so closely with a player that they cannot bear to have him questioned, and resort to personal attacks in retaliation.

I learn a lot more about football and about the Rams by reading varied opinions.

And I like it that way.
