That's really it. I don't care about the Super Bowl too much. I mean that's the main goal but improving is what I am most interested in. To watch the players improve.
Although I wasn't a fan of hiring Fisher, I thought the team, especially the defense, showed improvement. But the overall improvement seemed to wane. Progress seemed to stall.
Now I am hopeful that McVay might be able to take the Rams a step further than Fisher. But its a long season. And much like some fans are pronouncing the pats dead after one game, I am not going to be too geeked (although I will be about the victory) if the Rams beat the Colts... A few years ago the Browns won a few games and some fans started to point to them as a model of how to be successful... of course I think they lost out after about mid season, lol... So fans are quick to make judgments... sometimes after a few series, lol.
I prefer playing well to winning. I'm different that way, I know. lol. But I want to win, don't get me wrong. If the Rams play well and they win that's the best for me. I can probably count on one hand the number of times that has happened in the past 5 years.
