It's not "yahoo!" yet, because of the admonition that this IS preseason.
But at the same time, it's so much nicer to be saying to each other, "don't get too excited, this is only preseason", rather than "don't get too upset, this is just preseason".
I watched the Goff press conference that FloridaRam posted. Goff seemed VERY calm, VERY composed. He was not all jacked up about how he had just played. He talked and acted like a veteran. Like HE knows this is just preseason, and not to get too full of himself. He looks just a little thicker through the neck and shoulders, too.
It's not a big deal, but I think if you watch it (it's fairly short, maybe 5 minutes), you'll begin to get a better sense of who our QB is, all heliocentric confusion aside.
If this is what he is at 23, if this is the difference between 22 and 23, then I'm imagining him at 26 or 27 and I think we might have a real leader here.
McVay and Goff. Keep them together for another 10-12 years and this could be a good era for the Ram faithful.
