they are questioning his toughness, then I know even less about this game and human behavior than I thought.
if I were listing Goff's traits in order, toughness would be at number one.
A LOT of bad QB's get "lit up" not because they are tough but because they have no clue what the he// they are doing and in the pocket their "clock" never runs out.
Consider the play vs eattle when Goff makes a nice run and as he nears the GL for some strange reason he thinks no one is going to touch him when he should have just stepped out of bounds...Sherman lights him up!
Was that toughness or just dumbness? Idunno...
Name all the rookie qbs you know, particularly ones from spread systems, that came into the NFL green, didn't have a running game, and then managed to get the game to slow down for them enough to connect at an effective level.

So my question is, why are you attributing deficiencies to GOFF HIMSELF which are more likely a combination of a green qb plus less than ideal circumstances?
Would you have written off Aikman or Eli in their first years that way?
