15 mins - called and said I was cancelling - went right to retention. Got Ezekiel on the line, very nice to talk to, went through the pleasantries, long time customer, the first installment of the ticket almost gave me a heart attack, etc... Got $5 bucks off HBO for a month for six months, $7 dollars off Starz for 6 months, $17 bucks off of the max ticket per month and a credit of $60 a month for 12 months - with a 1 year contract (I would stay anyway).
I'm happy.
Wasn't planning to call for a few more weeks but I too got my bill emailed and saw that the monthly payments had started sooooo...
Somehow I went right to the "Sunday Ticket"department where I spoke with Jamie. She offered me $17 off per month for ST Max (though the more I pressed her about the "MAX" part of it the more she seem confused so maybe they call it something else now?) I told her I was not happy and asked if I could go to rentions department because "I am seriously considering cancelling.." She put me through to "Kyeshia (sp?)" who in a matter of minutes gave me $10 off per month for 12 months, $5 off per month for 6 months (HBO) and FREE ST MAX...HOWEVER the first rep "Jamie" put some sort of block on my account so Kyeshia said they will have a supervisor call me personally within the next 72 hours to confirm free ST MAX.
So as of now I am $150 ahead (12x10 + 6x5) and waiting for someone to confirm my free ST MAX which of course is the most import thing to me.
I will confirm if/when they call me back.
