I noticed that too. I figured he was trying to explain away the GR fiasco. "the curse of the top 10" 
I also noticed that when CC asked LS about Goff he says "what I do like about Jared is that last year bothered him but didn't affect him".
From my perspective that was telling. It was almost like something that would follow "I hate this this and this but "what I DO like about Jared is. . . "
I like the way McVay handles the same question: (1) can make all the throws (2) has want you want above the neck (3) showed some poise in the pocket (4) reacted the right way after last years season didn't go the way he wanted but didn't point fingers i.e., he owned it and then tempers it with - the real test will be when bullets are flying for real.
Guess what? Snead seems to be a good guy but guess what? his time is running out. For my sake, I hope the rams turn this thing around and Les can continue on.
