But every movement upward starts with a first step. I'm not about to miss that.
Without question I'm a 'homer'... although I don't think a naive one. For example.. I liked the Fisher hire but I can't say I was convinced. I liked the Spag's hire... wasn't sure about it.
This time - - McVay.. can't say I'm convinced, and won't... and won't say he's the only one I've felt brought something 'new'... but I can say that what it 'appears' he's bringing seems 'uniquely' new, dare I say tangibly hopeful?
I'm excited by the youth, the energy, the exuberance. I'm THRILLED by the 're-uniting', if you will, of old and new. That is - ALL of Ram history and the pride that should come with it. For a wet behind the ears HC to come in, first gig at HC, and address those old feelings AND interject new ones for today's roster... welllll, to me that's not just 'impressive' but DAMNED impressive.
To point: This off season was one of the most fun I can remember in YEARS. Do I think the Ram's are going to the Super Bowl? No need to address that question, it's silly. I can say I'm 'more' positive going into this year, even if not convinced, than I was with the coming of Linehan, Spags, or Fisher. - JamesJM
