Call it whatever you want, losing culture, incompetent management, bad personnel outcomes, multiple unfortunate events culminating in a losing record, or some other explanation that makes you feel justified in your position.
Bottom line is that this team has stunk for a very long time and it's not by accident. What that says to me is that expecting this team to be good this year is defying history. The odds are high that they will continue to be bad and the optimists will be explaining it away again at the end of another losing season.
As far as I'm concerned, and I've been saying this for months, the only hope is that McVay is a phenom who defies the odds and overcomes the enormous handicap of Demoff and Snead.
