How do we discuss Donald's achievements versus GR's lack of achievement and any counterbalance between the two, there is NO discussion on that topic.
And how do we decide that it either does or doesn't "outweigh" Donald's success? Errr I dunno that either.
The Rams could have drafted 3 guys ahead of Donald that were total busts and it wouldn't outweigh getting Donald.
It's a silly conversation IMO.
Even when re-framed to what dzrams said "If Fisher/Snead's drafting job performance were only judged by the 2014 1st round – i.e. GRob and Donald – would it be a success, failure, or a wash?" it is clearly a HUGE success.
He is the best defensive player in the entire NFL. He is the best player to come out of that draft. One can make a case that Beckham is more valuable but it's a hard sell.
