Overkill imo. Much like Maclin, his better days are behind him. The Rams need a number one guy, not a bunch of number 2's like they have. And that's what Decker would be imo.

The Rams probably have one spot to fill and if they start signing older vets, that will cost some of the young talented guys a roster spot. Why do that with a one year stop gap type signing?

Every-time a vet WR like a Maclin or Decker becomes available, there names will be brought up on Rams boards. I understand why though when you look at the 2016 stats from all of their pass catchers.

McVay knows what he has on this current roster and if he thinks he needs one more vet before training camp and preseason starts, he will find one. For now it seems like he's fine with the youngsters.

I'm fine that our oldest WR is only 25 years old aside from Tavon. McVay knows he can make another run a vet WR next season if Tavon doesn't pan out.
