Johnson vs. Ogletree

May 30, 2017 04:14AM
There is a choice that has to be made there. They're simply not keeping both past 2017. I lean much more toward Ogletree right now. After this year they'll have had Johnson for 6 years and paid him over $34.4M.

I would rather give an extension to a 26-year old Ogletree than a 28-year old Johnson. They should be able to keep Ogletree for something no more than what Hightower received from New England (4 yrs./$35.5M). Take the 2019 3rd round comp. pick for Johnson.
