Of course... and as I knew would happen... (couple answers I wouldn't have thought of)... I had to review my choice and reconsider... BUT... I'm sticking with it.
Waddy's TD, for me, was outstanding in every way. And for me, and those of us who followed through the 70's I'm sure... it was 'vindication'... a 'reckoning', you might say.
I'm becoming more aware that the most 'exuberant' responses I have had have a common trait... they all possess the element of 'redemption'... ya might say 'breaking jinxes'. No, I'm not particularly superstitious... but there have been times, (such as we're in now), when it just seems nothing can go right.
The SB run... without Question Proehl's catch and the Bruce/Jones plays in the SB are phenomenal.... and yet, beating the Vikes, for me, was as good.. or rather.. I'm not sure how to day that... as 'satisfying'? Obviously the Championship was bigger. Beating the Vikes was doubly satisfying for me... beating them, that's first... I had not forgotten the 70's, (never will)... but then to WIN the SB after a playoff run that included a victory OVER the Vikes... then to bask in the glow and glory of knowing it was Rams SB Victories 1 and Vikes SB Victories 0.... what can I say? It was bliss. - JamesJM
