Maybe, if he gets better coaching, he would run better routes. Maybe he get better technique at getting his hands out away from his body. When they practice turn around after 1 yard or go out 8 yards and turn around as the teams 2 passing plays, it is hard to get better.
This coaching staff was so bad at WR and QB, who knows what could change.
But great point on Amendola. Very likable overachieving player, but his cap is very limited. He is a solid player that gets you some key first downs, but I don't think he has ever came close to a 1000 yards. I don't think he would start on most NFL teams.
Somehow the Patriots can take a hodge podge of players and have a top offense. I get the great QB, but even when Brady was out that full season and the 1/4 of the season last year, the train kept going.
