But I should add. I don't see him as the "anti-Fisher"... only that he's different, as any other HC would be. And yes, I think, pretty darned sure, I know the difficulties the Ram's face... OL, WR's, QB...
Mostly I just see him as 'change'.... but not just 'change'.... imperative change - the Ram's were going nowhere. McVay could put in the old T-Formation ala George Halas and I'd be excited simply because it would mean the time for 'change' had finally been realized.
