Wasn't happy with the pick.
Thought the idea of the Rams, of all teams, using the 10th pick in the draft on a RB....let alone one who had a knee injury.....wasn't the wisest use of draft capital.
But last year, I saw a guy who wasn't very interested. He wasn't physical and looked to be protecting himself.
At the end of the year, the Oline seemed to take it personally about Gurley, saying pretty bluntly that Gurley wasn't going to the right holes.
I didn't see quickness, I didn't see any playmaking, tackle breaking going on.
Bottom line: I'm not so sure that they shouldn't be thinking about a RB later in the draft. As early as the 4th round perhaps. Unless they like what they have in the bullpen.
The problem was the offensive line blocking was not very good. The offense was not very good and the scheme was not very good.
Jeff Fisher was not very good.
You will see that Gurley is going to do a thousand percent better under McVay.
