Loved the pick. Loved the rookie year. The OL from last year were so embarrassing bad that any of them criticizing TG30 is obscene.
He was getting hit in .7 yards which means he didn't make it back to the line before contact. The fact that he averaged positive yards per attempt is amazing. If you give him a seam he can still take it to the house. I think the scheme was ridiculously predictable and defenses ganged up to stop him. With all that being said, he doesn't get off scott free. He has admitted not working as hard for his second season and promised he would work hard this off season. Hard Knocks was a stupid distraction for our horns. Doing Carl's Jr. spot and losing weight was dumb too. This guy has Pederson ability and I'm happy to have him. If they block he will look fabulous. The scheme will be better and hopefully we'll upgrade the passing game so the defense will play honest.
