It is clear from your posts that you like the idea of trading up and back and especially back in this draft.
I will say this much: I don't think the Rams have had a draft with Snead that he didn't make at least one trade and usually he moved around more. Sometimes up, sometimes back.
So it is probably reasonable to expect the same.
But.....how much of that was influenced by Fisher? Don't know, but probably it had a strong influence.
While Snead and McVay have made it abundantly clear that Snead is in charge of the draft and player acquisition and has the final word on those choices, McVay will of course have significant input on exactly the attributes of players he's looking for. And, probably, what he feels the Rams are lacking for the systems they will be installing. Will that fact limit, or encourage, moving around in the draft? Do the Rams feel they still need quantity, or would 4 very good potential starters at need positions out weigh drafting 8 players? Or, do they want even more than 8 drafted players.....like 9 or even 10?
In about 4 weeks we'll know.
