I think it is apparent that Groy would be an upgrade. I would say a MAJOR upgrade but I'm just basing it off of what I see. I hope the Rams can get him, it would be significant, IMO... at least compared to Barnes... who appears to have tried really hard but just not capable.

Disturbingly, Robert Woods seemed almost nonexistent.

Thanks for the little insight/feedback Atlantic. I believe Woods best years are ahead of him if #16 steps up his game.

Good to know you have seen 3 games of snaps from Groy and you have a favorable opinion about him..

I realize Groy did start in 7 games and some change if you count the snaps he played vs Seattle after starting Center Eric Wood broke his fibula..

I didn't hear much about Groy doing anything in the first of his seven starts vs the Bengals.. The word is Groy played some good ball in 5 of the last 6 games down the stretch in 2016, and I need to find as much of those games full snaps as I can...

I noticed from spotrac... that Groy's total snaps in 2016 was 541

In 2015 he got a sniff at 25 snaps..... in 2014 he got 226 snaps which I'm guessing was mostly at guard?... Anyway I hope I can find at least 300-400 of his snaps from the last 6 games of 2016.

Guards and Centers can be hard to scout because of not knowing the offensive scheme assignments in detail and the pedigree of the guards that play next them etc. I'm no expert but I'm going to look for certain things that stand out good and bad. When I find some time in the next few days I'll put a steady eye on him but I hate to jump all in wasting time on center film when he's not officially a Ram.
