Or you are undervaluing what Tru is worth. To anyone other than the people on this board, Tru is viewed as a very good corner.
Im not saying he is worth a young Darell Revis but I am saying hes worth more then a third. In terms of the FA market he is ranked as the second best in most listings. Hes going to get at least 14 mill from someone. I dont know the comp calculations but i would think that would net a third. Thus the rams think they can get more than a third. I dont think a one is crazy, a two is certainly in the ballpark. If they are wrong, I suspect they keep him.

Look. No one here is making it up that the news is that he is being shopped.
The dude has signed his Franchise offer and yet the Rams are shopping him.
So the speculation is why and what their motive might be. And assuming its true, what could they hope to get.
So why are the Rams now trying to trade him knowing darn well they're not going get some wonderful haul of draft picks?
And what evidence do you have that they might?
This isn't a young Darrell Revis, Superstar, second coming of Deon Sanders that we're talking about here.
And I stick to my viewpoint that IF they trade him, it won't be for anything like some here think (two second round picks? No way). In fact I don't believe they can get anymore than a 3rd round pick and maybe a later pick thrown in too. If they were to get ONE 2nd round pick, they ought to do the Maccarena.
So either they are shopping him to shake up the TruJ camp to get a deal done. Or they just want to see what the market is. Or they are serious and are willing to take the best they can get. Maybe there's another option but darned if I can think of it.
