He would be an interesting FS option. He's always been more of a role player in New England and been on the field maybe 40% of the time. But he's good in coverage and a smart player. Also plays a lot of ST. He's essentially their 3rd safety so I doubt they re-sign him.
Those are all of the reasons I would target him. Being the 3rd safety on the best D is not a slight. He’s very good at what he does and is a big part of why they are a top ranked D.
As a 3rd safety and role player, he shouldn’t be that expensive and would likely relish the opportunity to start somewhere.
