As a Ram's fan, like you and everyone else on this board, the lack of respect the '99 defense received(s) is something that irritates the heck out of me.
For me, and I think a lot of us, the most important aspect of the '99 "D" was how opportunistic they were. Coming through in tough situations. And I think there is truth that even here, among Ram fans, not enough was said, or is being said, about their contribution that year. "The Tackle" was not only huge in terms of the game, the Lombardi, but for me... and again, I think most if not all of you, indicative of what they had accomplished all season long.
