4 winning season in the past 27 seasons. That's less than 15%.
Somehow that never really registered with me.
And that helps explain why so many people look at the Rams as a joke.
I don't have much faith that a 31 year old is gonna turn this mess around.
Its not up to you to have faith Max. They have to prove it one way or the other and frankly
I feel good about this hire. But that is me and how I look at it.
Much of what the Rams organization has suffered the past 27 years should be laid at the feet of one person and that is the late and former owner.
Kroenke has only owned the team since 2010 and he did not hire Spags or Devaney. He did hire Fisher and that is on him but my opinion is that Kroenke and the organization was focused on the goal of moving the franchise.
What is different now? Now they are in a situation that is competitive and they are not the only NFL team in town and they are in a bigger market.
Frankly, the Chargers talent wise are a better team and could be winners faster then the Rams. Kroenke really cannot afford that but one thing for sure he is the landlord and Spanos the tenant. So in 2019 or 2020 when the new stadium opens he's going to make out financially .
But the point is they don't own the market and if they want to get their fair share they are going to have to produce winning competitive teams or
they will slide into distant 2nd place behind the Chargers. They know this and desperation is the mother of invention as they say and they will be motivated
to square their ship away and get this team (Rams) to win on the field on Sundays.
