Especially when you look back at all the goofball mistakes and draft busts and poor hires and mismanagement and on and on and on.. and, of course this time of year its extremely difficult to remain positive after that much misery, no matter what they do during the offseason.. So, I suggest you find something - anything - that you can hang your hat on that gives you even the slightest bit of hope for the next season..
For me that's pain pills and muscle relaxers.. I hope to blend in hard liquor soon..
Um, well, annoying, IMO. Year after year, they rush to defend the Rams' picks, and heavily criticize those who think the Rams actually, you know, make mistakes now and then.
It's tiresome.
Year after year, we see the picks and FA moves go bust, and then, like clockwork, the next draft, the next FA period, is automatically defended -- and all too often with strawmen like, "Kiper!!!"
I could see the "Coaches know a lot more about this than any draftnik" shtick if they actually had a track record to show that was the case. A
winning franchise gets to do that. A winning franchise can back that up. But the Rams aint that these days.
So it would just be refreshing if, for once, after an NFL draft, some fans wouldn't feel the need to bash critics of that draft, or the historical record. Just let people have their say and move on. It's no skin off their teeth, etc. etc.
