And I HATE that.
When they get this right, we will here from the usual suspects...oh Demoff got lucky!
So fin what! Does anybody know or care how Kraft decided on Belichick?
Or how Allen decided on Carroll?
There was some luck involved in Eddie choosing Bill Walsh.
WTHC??
Get to the destination, how you got there is irrelevant.
But because of the bias surrounding the participants, the adjective "lucky" will take center stage.
So if Demoff fails with this next head coach hire, would you dare to critique him at all after your new found love for him? I mean I wouldn't want him to see you posting anything in the form of constructive criticism.
Or do you just critique and beat on the new HC hire like you did Fisher or perhaps the GM (Snead) and forget all about the guy that hired both of them?
It all start up top!
You can dispense with the histrionics.
One more time for you then I'm done with it..
I love the
process. this "new found love" stuff is just sententious drivel.
Its obvious you have become more enamored with Demoff. Its ok, I understand as to why. I never met him, but I`m sure if I did, I`d really like him as well. Seems like a cool dude. I don't bash the guy personally, I just think his strengths are in other areas in a football organization and I believe you even said so yourself at some point.
Here is a post of yours and what YOU wanted: I liked it a lot by the way!

It starts with a new culture and that begins by getting strong leadership who demand excellence, and can identify players that accept nothing less.
I would blow up the present management team, which entails firing Fisher and Snead and I would reassign Kevin Demoff.
Kevin Demoff would be head of PR and the cap, ONLY. Demoff is extremely loyal and very good in the community. I value that.
Then I hire Ron Wolf who built the old Raiders and Packers and IMO is the greatest talent evaluator in the history of football.
Look no further than his scouting tree:
1. Ted Thompson, Packers
2. John Schneider, Seahawks
3. John Dorsey, Chiefs
4. Scot McCloughan, Skins
5. Reggie McKenzie, Raiders
All of these guys cut their teeth at the feet of the master, Ron Wolf.
I then give Wolf total autonomy and all of the financial resources he needs to build the organization.
He would build the scouting department and hire the new headcoach.
Ron is 77 now but he remains active as a consultant.
Its not that difficult if you have the right people in place
Within 3 years the misery and disappointment that we as Rams followers have endured would be a forgotten memory..
