And lets not forget where the Rams were before they hired Fisher. 2-14 in 2011, just before Fisher came. Any head coach they hired at the time would have been an upgrade from what they had.

Also at the time, there weren't many coveted interested head coaches at the time, so the market was in Fisher`s favor and all it took was one other team (Miami) to increase the market for him and create a bidding war. Win Fisher and Marvin Demoff.
