I completely agree. And I think Demoff largely sees it that way too. This little nugget in his quote screams coaching as the primary issue to me: ‘"But this is not a rebuild to me whatsoever.
This is maximizing the talent we have….’ It appears to me that he doesn’t think that the talent was maximized.
He talked about personnel later but it seems he relegated it to a secondary issue.
If they find the RIGHT coach, a major turnaround ala KC or SF several years ago wouldn’t surprise me.
