The longer it takes the more indecisive it shows them to be. Maybe they are really that indecisive and incompetent. That would be scary…
So I guess you haven't considered the possibility that they're getting feedback on Snead from potential coaching candidates before making the final decision?

That is plausible. But if they think the guy has done a bad job that is still troubling to me. Replacing a bad GM should be fairly easy. Why be so cautious?
But I suppose Snead’s status could be contingent on who the new HC is and their input. It just doesn’t seem quite as plausible to me as any other explanation. But maybe that's just me....
