Florida, With a proper diet , monitored by a nutritionist , Goff could change his body, adding 10 lbs.
on lean muscle weight easily. Say get to 225 / 230 but the right kind of weight.
And didn't they say they had figured out the problem with digesting protein ?
And hiring a good QB coaching guru, like George Littlefield(I think that's they guy's name)
would go a long way imo.
This is why I said 8-10 pounds max increase is the most we should expect in the coming off-season.
The dude is reported having issues gaining weight based on his DNA biological/scientific study etc.. Throw in that fact that he's just a newly turned 22 year old 6-4 skinny slim Jim by nature, tells me enough to understand he will be on the skinny side again in 2017.
I don't freak out about the weight at this age in his career because he makes up for it in durability/toughness... Meaning when he starts missing consecutive games to to injuries and someone can point out the fact its based solely on him not weighing 230 lbs as opposed to 223-225 lbs than it is purely speculation imo.
I doubt he weighs close to 230 lbs anytime soon and maybe he could be close to that mark by the 2018 season. Just assuming he puts on weight will add 5 mph to his fast ball makes me chuckle. He needs the correct HC and OC next season..
