Any thought that somehow Demoff is saying his boss is wrong for firing Fisher is simply misplaced.
Demoff is always a gracious gentlemen.
He is refraining from kicking Fisher when he's down and basically saying that all the blame can't fall on him.
These sentiments are no doubt his, and no doubt heart felt, but also fashioned for PR content.
Otherwise we'd have Demoff openly challenging his boss's decision to fire Fisher. And he's NOT about to do that.
Anyone who has run an organization of some size at a high level has done exactly the same thing. It never looks good to pile on and it serves no purpose.
