He "can" be in the conversation. I certainly would be interested in him working with Goff and he sure has that Ron Erhardt offense down. Working with a QB like Brady and watching his preparation and leadership should allow him to share a great deal with Goff
My issues are he also had some personality issues that got him in trouble with players and other coaches. Some say he was very arrogant... and drafting Tebow and thinking you can make him a star is probably the height of arrogance
Can people change? Sure...I'm just skeptical of him.
