Bill has built the guy from the ground up as a coach. He's a Belichick type of guy too, extremely intelligent and a tireless worker. This is the kind of guy who represents a coach's training and legacy among his staff members, so it will be interesting to see how he does when he gets his first shot which he will very soon.

Agreed. I would much rather take a run at Patricia than McDaniels for HC. The Rams need a change in culture(winning). Then bring in a top notch OC.

I would much rather go with not only an offensive coach, but one who has had a taste of the head coaching position and time to reflect.
He's older now and has hopefully matured and reconciled the mistakes he made and how to rectify them.
It certainly helped Belicheat and Pete. Two of the most successful coaches in football.
I would definitely interview McDaniels.
Patricia strikes me as a second leg, not an anchor!
