I was at the game and can tell you every one of those Dolphin fans would have left had he made that FG....the game would have been over.
But nope, doink...Greg misses it and all the sudden the Fins have life.
Game of inches.....that kick is 4 inches to the right we win that game IMO.
I don't think any of those Dolphin fans would have left the game. They still needed 2 TD's to win, a feat they accomplished. Even if they would have left, we had to keep the Dolphin offense out of the end zone, not their fans from leaving.
You can't even blame the field position Miami inherited by the miss due to the penalty they incurred. Missing that FG meant we lost by 4 rather than just one point.

You guys are hung up on the dolphin fans?? Hahaha... It was just a way to say that game was over...
You weren't at the game were you??? The energy was sucked out after the miss and gave the place an uneasy feeling...the old "here we go again"
Greg Z is supposed to be able to make a forty something yarder... It was the right call. The way our o-line blocks.......sigh
Fisher needs to go either way.... He has not held anybody responsible for one of the most uninspired offense I've ever seen....
I gotta give you credit for going to the game, especially to watch an offense that has avged less than 10 pts the last four. I imagine that the excitement of seeing Goff lead us on THE TD drive was quickly replaced by "the old 'here we go again' " by the end of the 1st half.
Although I wasn't there to feel "The energy sucked out after the miss" @ the stadium, I was at my house sucking down Guinness all night after this season ending debacle.
I'm not saying that the missed FG didn't effect the game. Heck, I think Barron's near INT drop would have sealed it. I just don't think it cost us the game.
Insofar as being "hung up on the dolphin fans", you were the one who brought them into this (losing) equation.
Hopefully, you will be able to brag to your kids that you were there for Goff's 1st NFL pass attempt as he leads us to Super Bowl appearances and victories.

And I agree: Fisher has to go.
