Offense was its usual inept self and the defense folded up like a cheap suit on the final two drives.
Defense did fold up.
But to say it would not have made a difference I'm not sure is correct. Make that field goal and the Rams have all the momentum.
Kicking off is much different then just turning the ball over.
Different mind set altogether.
What cost us the game ultimately was Boras and Fisher and their play not to lose scheme. I personally have a hard time envisioning this team winning games down the stretch with coaching like that.
I keep hearing the talking heads saying the Rams do not have the weapons and I frankly don't agree with that statement. The truth is the Rams do have weapons its brains that they don't have. Namely Fisher and whomever he puts at the OC.
Two words right now that would be a shot in the arm for the Rams offense in 2017. Mike Martz.
Not as a head coach but as the QB coach and OC.
