and increased our chances of getting better talent with more choices.

The draft is far from an exact science...and we have rebuilt our roster to the point where the Defense & STs are very very good...
and the QB position was recognized as our true limitation. The Rams made one of the biggest jumps in NFL history going from #15 to #1 to FIX that in drafting Goff. I like trying to win and gambling as opposed to what he Rams used to do when drafting by being conservative and sticking with their 7 allotted picks.

I bet Fisher already signed that contract(3-4yrs??) and it's just embarrassing for the Rams to make it public
cuz folks are sick of middling records and it looks like more of the same. This is not the year for the Rams to crater and get a high pick as we don't have a #1 this year. Let's crater next year! lol

I'm not for new coaches, schemes & players to fit them right now. I have not seen anything from Fisher but a defensive HC that appreciates a solid & unspectacular, ball-control offense. We have 2/3s of a VERY good team. imo
CK showed that our WRs CAN get open and be productive....even Quick. A passing talent is what is needed to add that balance to a run-based game(sans an OL with 3 #1s - ala Dallas) - that has little passing threat.

We'll see how it plays out....but I think S&F will be here for the next 3-4yrs.
