If the Rams go 4-2 or 3-3 in these last 6 games, Fisher can use "a promomising future" argument. Yes, maybe Fisher can go 7-9 again and retain his job. If he does that with Keenum, he's toast.
Personally, short of 9-7 he should be fired. Well, frankly, I think he should be fired period because the Rams will never be a championship team with Fisher.

I get the "on any given Sunday" thing but IMO they will be lucky to go 3-4 from here on out.
We all know they will win one they should not and lose 1-2 they should win though at this point the only "they should win" game is vs SF, ANYONE who thinks today is a gimme does not watch football though big advantage today is Pouncey not playing for the fish, Donald will dominate or be triple teamed allowing others to dominate. Schefter says Quinn is playing so that should help but you better stop the RB first and foremost.
Anyhow, 7-9 again looks like reality but as you say, that might just get ol Jeffy another year or (gulp!) 5!
