Quantum physics. This is similar to my energy theory. The theory is bases on a sub form of quantum physics in that there can only be so much energy in a given "something". Assume the Rams are "something" if the defense continues to play lights out the offense by nature will continue to suffer. If the offense finds itself and begins to improve the defense by nature will begin to suffer.
And this theory also supports the other part of the equations which is as follows" Whenever the Rams do some really really good it is almost immediately followed by the opposite. Hence the great pass that put the Rams on the one inch line with first an goal. Immediately they go backwards and have to settle for the FG. Another example: The great great punt by Hekker putting the Jets on their one inch line. What happens next is the long drive by the Jets for a TD !
So the only way we can improve our offense and score more is for the defense to play poorly or at least not as good as they have been playing. It's simply a matter of how much energy can be contained in a give space and hopefully spread around evenly.
I firmly believe in this stuff but the problem is there is no one you can blame. It's not about coaches or players or ownership or drafting or...
