No one is declaring moral victories. Repeat. No one. There is No. One. You can't quote anyone or anything that says that.

People are squarely honest about what caused the defeat...2 turnovers. (There were 3, I know, but the first 2 are what caused the defeat).

Well were there improvements in the offense or not. Yes or no. It's an answerable question, and it's an askable question.

You can still stew and boil and fuss over the loss. Burn players and coaches in effigy, the whole 9 yards.

But asking and answering an honest analytic question is its own, separate, different thing.

Because in spite of the overwhelming horror of being 3-2 ... it's a long season left still, and it;s interesting to figure out if they have improved in any areas. It would be nice to actually discuss that, in reasonable ways.

I don't know about you, but saying that the offensive stats the Rams put up is a formula for success seems like a moral victory to me.

I am also not so sure it was the 2 turnovers that cost the Rams the game. Could have been the 150 to Shady or the fact the Rams were 1 out of 4 in the Redzone. More on that later.

You asked if there were improvements on offense. Its an answerable and askable question. The answer is obvious. Yes, the offense has improved from week 1 when they were shut out by a team that might not win 3 games all year. You cannot regress from 0 in football. The question is actually pretty vague and again whats the point? have they improved from 32nd to 31st? So what, thats still terrible. How about 1 for 4 in the redzone? Is that an improvement over 0-0 in the Redzone against the 9ers? It sure is, but will it win you many games?

You talk about honest analysis being welcome and rational discussion being nice, but yet you jump into a string where posters are posting their frustrations and opinions. Why? Why try and turn opinion based posts into a factual arguement. There has to be a post for that already, and if there isn't, start one. You can post wherever you feel like posting, but if I go into a clothing store and get upset when I cannot find milk, is it my fault?

And telling people they are not being objective and suffering from loss rage and self mutilating themselves doesn't go along ways in having rational, analytical conversations.
