I dunno, zn.
Fisher citing favorable O stats in a home game that was lost by 11 points could be considered the equivalent of "moral victory". At least by some. So calling BS might be an overreaction on your part.
You want objectivity?
We are 3-2. But the 3 wins were all squeakers while benefitting from stellar play by our D and ST. I mean, down to the last play squeakers. Including some key turnovers at critical junctures. Without such surrounding play we are 0-2.
Our QB is scrappy, but so limited. His TD/int ratio is atrocious. He can't make some throws that demand respect from opposing D's. He doesn't even see some open receivers. He holds the ball too long and takes critical sacks that kill drives. Already has 2 pick sixes. And the sad thing is that he's probably playing close to his ceiling.
Fisher is a career mediocre HC. His Ram HC record is still sub 500 through 5 games of his 5th year. His O is at the bottom of the league. Again. His elite RB is struggling. His #1 overall QB can't get on the field (unlike 4 other young mostly rookie QB's around the league). The OL is struggling. His TE's are being underused (IMO). His WR have had their flashes at times, although Tavon hasn't exactly blown the doors off this year, as advertised.
What to do? I think Kroenke has to ride it out with Fisher this year. Pointless to change HC's now. But I would already have instructed Demoff to start the HC search process for next offseason, that's for sure.
Some of the above are facts, others are opinions. But that's my take, anyway. While being as objective as I can be.
Some opinions may vary. Lol.
