Finally the statement commingled environment with personnel so it's a bit convoluted.

To be honest I wasn't exactly sure what he was saying.

Yeah may recall on more than a few occasions that Billy D has said publicly that his regime (Spags) failed Sam from day 1 by never giving him the weapons that a franchise QB deserves. To his credit he has been quite open about this subject.

I'm guessing that is where DV is first pointing his finger here but to see the offensive philosophy Fisher has brought in (Stone Age) I'm sure that throws up a major red flag for DV as he probably has a hard time seeing how that will mesh with a highly skilled, younger thrower of the football.

We should not be putting our heads in the sand when Vermeil says something we don't want to hear. We should be seeing a red flag and be concerned.

Unfortunately, all we can do is hope for the best against the odds.
