into going from "hoping for" a win to "expecting" a win as the week goes by.
Knock yourself out if you want, but I dunno, fellas.
I think there are a lot of headwinds going into this one.
Rams are coming off of a 2 game win streak. They tend not to sustain those.
Rams are playing their 2nd straight road game. Even good teams often end up splitting 2 game road trips.
Rams are coming off a heat/humidity game down in Tampa that went long.
Rams dline was shorthanded and may have emptied their tank, temporarily, in Florida.
Rams still haven't proven that they can establish the run this year, and control a game, and the clock.
Cardinals are embarrassed and angry. Everybody's questioning them. This is gut check time for a very tough team.
Arians has set the tone for expectations with personnel moves.
Palmer and Fitz know the Rams and have racked up big numbers against them in the past. They are the leaders on that team.
Sorry, but I have to go into this counting it as a loss already.
If I'm wrong, so much the better. But I live in Arizona amidst the Card fans.
This is the type of game we've made a science out of losing. Opposing team is on the mat and all we have to do is come in and step on 'em. We usually end up stepping into something else entirely. I'd like to see if we've really matured. Last week was another game we've made a habit of losing in the past, but actually finished, so I don't want to say it's out of reach. I'd like to see us come in and make a statement, but you're also going to have to color me skeptical for now. It's the weirdest Rams team I can remember and I just don't really know who the heck we are yet.
