but just looking at the run defense alone the Rams are giving up 3.4 ypc vice 3.8 at this time last year. The defense does look better to my eye thus far, yes, although in last year's first three games our defense really showed up in that game 3 matchup vs Pittsburgh.
Seemed to me last year they were worse in the RAC but again I didn't look it up. This year the problem is completions period, which I pray gets better for us when Gaines gets in there.
