Without Kroenke the initial move LA to St. Louis never would have happened, he was the money behind the it. Georgia didn't have enough to satisfy the NFL.
Kroenke was instrumental in moving the Rams to St. Louis, and instrumental in moving them to LA. Both moves were done for money, nothing else, if Kroenke finds a better deal (read more $$) he'll be out of LA in a blink. He has zero obligation to LA, his only thing is to make as much money as he can while there.
