I've followed this closely since the Rams moved up. I have a brother who lives in Fargo & has all 3 of his kids in NDSU so I was inundated with "Wentz-mania" for months.
So as I watched this play out and watched the eagles make their move to 2 there was little doubt in anyone's mind in Philly that the Eagles wanted, AND WERE GOING TO GET Wentz.
So my question; Did the eagles call the Rams to get confirmation that they were taking Goff prior too Philly making their move?
And please stop with the " we would have been happy with either" jargon because I am convinced both of these teams got EXACTLY the QB they wanted.
With the Rams having the first pick they'd have no reason to hold back or lie to the eagles (except maybe to get back at them for saddling the Rams with that dead horse named Foles, but I digress!) so I'm thinking they told Philly straight up that their choice was Goff.
Long way to go to see how this all plays out but this draft will link the Rams, Eagles AND Browns for several years to come.
Thoughts?

Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
