No, the problem wasn't a lack of talent. The problem was that that talent wasn't properly focused and directed.
The entire team looked dysfunctional, pure and simple. Helper skelter. Incredibly maddening for a Ram fan to watch.
As in, they don't have a whole lot of time to attract and hold a big enough fan base. They could lose the city quickly, if they keep losing.
