I think most people simply recognize that Keenum is a guy we can root for, but he's backup material. That's all.
But this story all gets back to the fundamental truth that so many here aren't comfortable confronting.
Wentz made Bradford expendable, so that's exactly what happened. Goff failed to make Keenum expendable, so that's also what happened, or maybe what didn't happen.
Doesn't mean we're close to the final score on this thing. Just means Goff is behind early and that's not what we wanted, but it's where we are and it's why Keenum is the QB the Rams will need to rally behind and play good football.
