When he was a free agent they wanted him and now we know they were after him this preseason... also earlier this week we heard rumblings that the Vikings made a call about him
All these people keep bashing Keenum - I do think that is unwarranted
Nick Foles was awful last year. Stunningly bad - Keenum appears to be a solid or "ok" to me. He knows the offense and appears very comfortable and he's not going to lose a game... and he might be able to win a close one
I do think most are being too hard on him...
I hope the Rams start winning. It would be nice to see the mood of the board change
I am a critical thinker but even I think some of these negative threads are over the top
It would be nice if the Rams can build some trust and optimism
And as I posted then, guys gravitated to him, on the field and the sideline. You could see leadership in him and he got guys to execute. He was loose. He had the huddle. Never felt like I was watching a future Kurt out there, but I did like what I saw.
Gotta tell ya, the look on Sherman's face on the big screen when Case hit that TD strike to Britt I will never forget.
CK is what he is. Predictable. I'm hoping he can take it past the stutter and sputter offense and just put coherent drives together. As always, we'll see. After the roller coaster QB ride we've been on the past decade and a half, I'll take that until the kid can take the reigns. I too hope for some early wins to get the press off our back and some folks to chill. A plan is never a good one until it works.
