So I called several times last month and got stonewalled each time for the first time ever they would not budge.
Yesterday while driving home I give it another shot.
William answers my call in "Retentions" and I come straight out saying I'd like Sunday ticket max but at a reduced rate.
He thanks me for being with them since 96' and says he'll help me out. ST itself is 6 payments of $45, Max is 4 additional payments of $25 for a total of $370.
William says he'll give me 20% of ST 6 at $35) and a free upgrade to Max.
I accept.
Then while he's doing it he says "ah what the heck, I'll make the first payment for you" saving me another $35.
Then he says he'll take $7/mo off my HBO bill for 6 minths ($42 additional savings).
So instead of $370 I end up paying $133 and I keep my already started $40/mo discounts for 22 more months.
Before hanging up he tells me to call back 11/2 as I will be eligible for bigger discounts on that day because my account is in "great standing."
Yep, I'll be calling back 11/2...

Well you motivated me RFIP and because of such I just called them again.
Been with them forever and received Sunday Ticket for free almost every year. Called last month asking for the same and as others have said they would not budge because of the AT&T thing. In fact the message was full price this year buddy.
So I saw your post and decided to call today. When conversation ended they gave it to me this year for $99 which includes Sunday Max. I'm pleased.
