I have no doubt that Kroenke was desirous of making a big splash with their re-entrance into LA and was all for Goff, but I think Snead/Fisher were completely on-board with that plan. The reason Fisher chose the Rams over the Dolphins in the first place was because Kroenke gave him carte blanche authority and Ross wouldn't. And Fisher has not exactly been a good soldier in the past when an owner forced a QB on him (see: Young, Vince).
So either Fisher and Snead need to quit their football jobs and get into acting in LA, because they deserve an academy award for their palpable excitement over the Goff trade and selection, or Fisher did it because he wanted to.
I personally think Fisher was influenced by Kroenke's "vision," because that's how he keeps his job while losing for years on end, but I think he was very much in favor of the Goff deal. Maybe not all in on it for all the right reasons, but all in on it never the less.
