Had Goff been taken by Browns, would he be ready to play there? At some point you have to look at the film and ask, where is he on the arc?
I hope he improves and improves and takes over as the starter because I do think he's more talented than Keenum. I am not by anymeans writing him off.
My view has been consistent and specific. Neither he and Wentz were worth what was given up for them. To me, that's John Elway (struggled rookie year) but had everything going for him. Arm, legs, smarts, all of it. And there are few people like that, though your mortgage the future for.
My view is Goff isn't one of those.
